Description
Mucosyte Fluid is a bioadherent protective oral mucosa gel with repairing activity. It forms a protective film coating over the oral mucosa. Mucosyte Fluid promotes the wound healing and provides immediate relief and comfort by eliminating pain. Suggested for the treatment and management of oral mucositis and of all lesions of oral mucosa caused by Chemo and Radiation Therapy.
Indications
Suggested for the treatment and management of Oral Mucositis and of all lesions of the mucous caused by Chemo and Radiation Therapy. For its outstanding action it finds specific use in the treatment of: Sores, ulcers, stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis, Oral surgery, difficult extractions, Implantology, traumatic ulcers caused by dentures and orthodontic devices, Burning Mouth Syndrome.
Active ingredients
Ingredients; Demineralized water, Maltodextrin, Polyvinylpyrrolidone, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxyethyl cellulose, aroma, Verbascoside, EDTA disodium salt, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, citric acid, sodium saccharin, sodium hyaluronate.
Directions FOR USE
Mucosyte fluid sachets 15 ml
Pour the contents of the sachet into a glass and add 15 ml of water. Mix well and use immediately. Swish the solution in the mouth thoroughly for 1 minute or for as long as possible , ensuring that the whole oral cavity, palate, tongue inside cheeks and all surrounding tissues are uniformly impregnated with it and after spit out. The product may be used also for gargling and in special cases it may be used undiluted. For small children, apply directly onto the parts to be treated, dabbing them with a pad soaked with pure or undiluted product. Any unused product should be thrown away. It is advised not to take food, drink for at least 1 hour after treatment. Unintentional swallowing of the product does not create risk for the consumer, however it is preferable to be avoided. Can be used undiluted with swabs. Suggested use at least three times a day. Good oral hygiene as recommended.
Side effects
Alleged or confirmed hypersensitivity to one or more product components.
Special precautions for use
Avoid eating or drinking for at least 60 minutes after treatment. Any cloudiness or opalescence do not alter the effectiveness of the product nor its safety for use. Any unused quantities must be eliminated. Keep the package tightly closed, at room temperature and away from light or heat. Do not use Mucosyte fluid if the package is not intact or after the expiration date. Involuntary swallowing is not a risk for the consumer’s health but should be avoided. There are no known interactions with medicines or other products. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. In case of intolerance, suspend treatment and if disturbances persist after 7 days of treatment, consult a physician.
